Adipurush Box Office Collection Cross 400cr in 3 Days | Adipurush Box Office Collection 500 crore mark
On its first Tuesday, the film recorded a mere Rs 10 cr all India nett (including all languages), with its Hindi share reported to be in the range of Rs 5-6 cr. According to industry tracker Sacnilk, Adipurush minted Rs 10.80 cr across all languages. Its Hindi occupancy was around 11.16 percent. On Tuesday, T-Series claimed that the movie had grossed Rs 375 crore worldwide.
The film’s worldwide figures were low as well. After the first day gross haul of Rs 140 cr globally, film industry tracker Manobala Vijayabalan reported that Adipurush clocked Rs 17.93 cr on Tuesday. The film’s poor collections, less than Rs 120 cr Hindi nett, has sealed its fate. Adipurush was reportedly produced for a reported budget of over Rs 500 crore, and is yet to cross the Rs 400 crore gross worldwide.
While Adipurush has crossed Salman Khan’s Eid release Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan (which minted just about Rs 100 cr and bombed), the T-Series film will now on struggle to surpass the studio’s own co-production Tu Jhooti Main Makkaar. The Ranbir Kapoor -Shraddha Kapoor starrer rom-com had minted Rs 149 cr in March.
Adipurush ran into national controversy from the day of its release due to dialogues penned by Manoj Muntashir, which many dubbed as “pedestrian language” for a story considered by many to be devine. The makers on Sunday decided to alter the dialogues and roll out a fresh version of the film in a “few days”.
